Welcome to House of Barre, Montreal’s only Pop Up Barre Studio in the heart of the city!
If you’re new to Barre dont worry. Your Barre-tenders will show you how its done. Barre is a full body workout based on the principles of Pilates while combining elements of dance, yoga and body weight training movements. In all of our classes, we mix calisthenics, cardio, and strength training into one big cocktail (get it?). Using light weights, bands, resistance balls, and a ballet barre, you’re sure to leave feeling toned, lean and invigorated. And the best part? No dance experience necessary!
Hard work and consistency are two keys to success, but without music, this would be very hard to achieve. Music contributes to the overall experience of our classes and inspires us to push the “barre” together as a community. All our classes are matched to the beat of the music in order to indicate the pace of each move. Don’t be surprised if we throw in a theme every once in a while!
All thanks to Tyler Anne School of Dance, Lydia and Laura were able to combine their fitness powers to create this Pop Up Boutique Barre concept, which was a turn key solution to what the girls felt was missing in this city.

The House Special
“I’ll have the 6 pack with a side of sculpted arms please!” This signature barre class is set to sick beats using Pilates-inspired exercises, barre and mat work all in a 60 minute blast. By using small isometric exercises, otherwise known as “pulses”, you’re sure to get that toned and lean bod you’ve always wanted.
HIIT the Barre
Get ready to sweat it out in this 60 minute Barre HIIT class. This high intensity cardio house-party will leave you burning calories for hours. Inspired by bootcamp and interval training, the only way to get through it is pulsing to a killer playlist.
Short, but oh so sweet! This 45 minute class is specifically tailored to focus on your core to give you those washboard abs you’ve been dying for! Using nothing more than a couple of resistance bands, dumbbells and your own body weight, your abs will be screaming for the entire ride. This class is perfect for those who are looking for a more specified work-out.
Our fall session begins on September 5th and ends December 22nd.
All of our classes are done barefoot or in yoga socks, so leave the running shoes at home and bare it all! Since we are a Pop Up, please bring your own:

2. Reserve your spot up to 3 hours before each class by registering here (we do not accept drop-ins).
- Spots are on a first-come, first-served basis, so book as soon as possible!
- To cancel your spot in a class, please notify us by email 12 hours in advance in order to give other registrants a chance to join us on the mat.
- To inquire about special rates for private or group classes with either Laura or Lydia, please contact us.
Our Pop-up is located in Decarie Square at Tyler Anne School of Dance . There’s free parking, and a separate entrance from the mall right into the Studio. The nearest Metro is Namur.
